Trauma-Informed Yoga is a style of yoga that makes traditional classes safer and more supportive for people with a history of trauma. Teachers use invitational language (“you might try…”), offer choices, avoid triggering cues or touch, and emphasize empowerment. The goal is to create a safe space for participants to practice yoga in ways that feel grounding and regulating. It is yoga as movement with adjustments to make the practice trauma-informed for students in the class.
Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapy goes a step further. It uses yoga techniques—movement, breathwork, and mindfulness—in a therapeutic relationship to specifically address trauma’s effects on the mind and body. Sessions are often one-on-one or in small groups, guided by a yoga therapist trained in both yoga and trauma-sensitive approaches. The practices are personalized to help with symptoms like anxiety, feeling on edge, or disconnection.

These terms often overlap, but each points to a slightly different way of connecting with energy and intuition:
Clairvoyant — Literally means “clear seeing.” A clairvoyant receives intuitive information through visual impressions, symbols, or images that appear in the mind’s eye. It’s one of several intuitive senses, often showing guidance through metaphor or imagery.
Psychic — A broader term describing anyone who receives intuitive insight beyond the five senses. Psychics might “see” (clairvoyance), “hear” (clairaudience), “feel” (clairsentience), or simply “know” (claircognizance) things about people, energy, or situations.
Medium — A medium specifically connects with loved ones who have passed, ancestors, or spiritual guides. While all mediums are psychic, not all psychics are mediums—the difference is that mediums focus on communication with the spirit realm.
Energy Worker — An energy worker focuses on healing, clearing, and balancing energy rather than receiving intuitive messages. This can include practices like Reiki, chakra alignment, or other hands-on or distance energy balancing techniques.
In short:
Psychics tune into energy and information, often offer future predictions.
Clairvoyantssee intuitive details.
Mediumscommunicate with spirit.
Energy workersrestore and realign your energy.
Each approach can stand alone or blend together, depending on the practitioner’s gifts and training.
While I have facility with all of the skills listed above, I primarily offer Clairvoyant Readings and Energy Work.
I do not specialize in future predicting or mediumship, but can offer you referrals to colleagues.
